Spring Cleaning Your Windows and Doors

Spring cleaning can be a daunting task; luckily your friends at Pella have tips to get your windows and doors clean and for the summer months. Windows : One easy and natural way to get your windows clean this spring is using a water and vinegar solution. Use a bucket of warm water with vinegar added. For every 2 cups of water, use ¼ cup vinegar. Many bloggers and cleaning gurus tell you to use an ammonia based solution. While this is fine for most windows, glass with a Low E or a sun defense coating can be tarnished and the ammonia sometimes leaves streaks on the windows.
